From Bannister Park, head down the bike trail and take any of the side dirt trails to the river. Lots of nice spots, good hills and cliffs and oaks. Or stay on the bike trail to cross the bridge to the Sun River Park area. Crowded near the bike trail, not elsewhere.

Careful about the allowed parking hours (can't stay parked into the evening on a weekday).
