Vahine Tahiti is a godess. She's the protector of the women of Tahiti. The women pray to her, and often she grants their prayers. Sometimes, however, they're granted in ways that make the women regret asking.
It's 1788. A ship from England arrives at Tahiti. Vahine Tahiti forecasts doom for everyone except one single Tahitian woman, who she won't yet identify.
