The man who speaks to you this week doesn't even know where he is. He's been so many places he can't remember. No one knows him, he's been wandering around too much. All he knows is that he's trying to avoid someone: the ticket taker.
The constant wandering and attempts to avoid fate are useless. There's no way to escape the ticket taker. You can avoid him for a while, sidestep him a few times, but eventually he'll find you.
