Been trying to find out from where the information originates, which states an airing with the title "Retreat At Dunkerque" ..

Does anyone have a specific reference from the time?

I've been unable to find anything, but Jerry Haendiges (http://www.otrsite.com/logs/logq1001.htm) appears to be citing a specific reference in his log (as follows), but there's no indication of what the underlying source is..
"Robin Hood and his Merry Men are at Calais during the Allied retreat at Dunkerque and shoot arrows into German tanks to blow them up. The supporting cast is unknown. SPECIAL NOTE: This was the only program in the entire series aired locally on WOR"

Obviously, it must have come from a New York newspaper, in the last week of August or first week of September 1947, .. Can anyone point to it specifically?

Incidentally.. Jerry states above it is the ONLY program of the series aired locally at WOR.. Unless I've got something screwed up, I show multiple shows had aired locally on WOR in the first season (usually Mondays at 10:00 while the network had them on Wednesdays at 8 or 8:30)..
Have I made an error somewhere?

Was hoping someone would know.. I've been searching for it, but to no avail. But did find some interesting air dates and times scheduled times (no titles though) which several do not correspond with the network air dates..

Also thought this was interesting: It's two clippings , one dec 47 and the other Dec 48, about Chappell narrating A Christmas Carol

OK.. I give up.. searched everyway I knew hoe to, but can't find the paper which called the episode "Retreat at Dunkerque" or a variation of it. But did find this..

"The fantastic story of an American volunteer caught in the rear-guard action at Dunkirk in May of 1940 is told by Ernest Chappell on tonight's WTSB - Mutual broadcast of "Quiet Please" at 9 o'clock." - St. Petersburg Times - Aug 31, 1947
