Yes, the story is based on a well-known legend. There are a number of web sites with more info on the legend.

BTW - I have all of the scripts for the shows that don't exist on tape. Unless someone tells me to stop, I will try to post them all (along with the full script for Be a Good Dog, Darling) over the next few weeks.

I'll be the 2nd, then. Thanks! I've been waiting few years hoping these scripts would turn up somewhere (though I'm sure not as many years as others have waited). It's not quite as good as hearing them, but it's the next best option.
